Network Performance Testing of Wireless@SG Service
WaveReach Pte Ltd has completed two 3 year contracts of NPT services of Wireless@SG hotspots for IMDA. The first contract project started in May 2017 and the second contract ended in Oct 2023. In total, we have tested a total of more than 7000 Wireless@SG hotspots. The scope of services includes Wi-Fi coverage measurements and post processing using commercial Wi-Fi survey software, non-SIM based Enhanced Seamless and Secure Access (ESSA) & SIM based EAP authentication testing with Android, iOS, iPadOS, macOS, Windows devices and latency/throughput capacity verification at the hotspots. The hotspots site tested include MRT platforms/concourse, bus interchanges, ferry terminals, public libraries, public hospitals, community clubs and hubs, commercial malls, office buildings, tourist attractions, etc.
Full Turnkey Trunked Radio Coverage Extension for Container Port
WaveReach Pte Ltd have also the capabilities to take on full turnkey deployment of 4G/Tetra Trunked Radio system for indoor/outdoor coverage projects using Base Transceiver System (BTS) and repeater system. The scope of works includes site survey, network design, generation of site acquisition report, site coordination with building owner, supply of materials and components, civil, electrical and mechanical works, system installation and coverage/capacity performance verification for system acceptance. Partnered with System Vendor Motorola Solutions, we have completed a full turnkey project for the indoor and outdoor coverage extension of Tetra Trunked Radio System in a Tuas container port in 2020 and it has been in operation since then.
Wireless Backhaul Solutions for Offshore Island
WaveReach Pte Ltd have partnered with our system integrator in 2020 to design and supply point to point microwave radios to link up an offshore island at Pulau Tekong for an enterprise user. This include link budget dimensioning to determine the antenna sizes, radio spectrum bandwidth, power output, etc. for achieving the targeted throughput and link reliability of more than 99%. The targeted throughput is required for carrying both corporate office data and surveillance video traffic. The proposed microwave radio solutions are based on Mimosa B5 and C5x products.
